Goosheh Poster Exhibition
Goosheh was an exhibition of contemporary Iranian music posters. When thinking about an idea for the poster, I saw my papers’ basket which I’ve always had in my studio. I roll papers in all sizes and keep them a\in that basket. Back then although I used to keep my posters in that basket. I thought to myself that this exhibition is also like this basket. A lot of posters, gathered together in one place. Then I started to mix this image with instruments. You can see that these posters morph into instruments like flute, taar, violin, etc. I have also used a pun for designing this poster, “Goosheh” is a part of a “dastgah” in Persian music but also means “corner” in Persian language. I used this pun and laid out the types on the top left corner of the poster. A part of this project was a book for the exhibition and I have designed the book based on the image and layout of the poster.
